The Meteorological Institut has the responsibility in the areas of meteorology, climatology and seismology all over the national territory, IM concentrates on projects related with direct applications to the operational activity, with a view to a progressive improvement of the information supplied to the users, either as a commercial activity or as a public service directed toward the safety of life and property.
