Lisboa's Climate

Deadlines Update
Due to several requests the organization has changed the following deadlines:
abstract submission - March, 29^th 2006; notification of accepted abstracts - April, 13^th 2006; final Registration (regular fee) until April, 20^th 2006; submission of definitive papers - May, 15^th 2006.

Online registration is now available to all participants of the 4^thICEAWS. The Organization kindly ask to all participants to use the registration form. We kindly ask you to read the related information.


WMO will financially contribute participation of experts in the 4^thICEAWS
The Organizing Committee is pleased to announce that WMO will contribute with financial towards the participation of experts from developing countries to the 4th ICEAWS, Lisboa 2006. The procedure will consider requests for participant candidates, from countries in the following regions: Africa, Europe, Latin America, Caribbean, and Asia.

Equipment Exhibition in 4^thICEAWS
The Organizing Committee will provide an area for exhibition of meteorological equipments and services, related with the themes of 4th ICEAWS. (more information)


The 4^thICEAWS will take place at the ALTIS PARK Hotel, Lisboa
The Organizing Committee informs that the conference will take place at the ALTIS PARK Hotel Lisboa. This area is well served by public transportation (metro and bus) and can be reached in about 15 minutes from Lisboa International Airport.


2^nd announcement of 4^thICEAWS -- 2006
2nd announcement & call for papers has been released. The document forms (abstracts form), the deadlines, fees and other information are now available online.
The abstract formats will be 1 page A4-DIN and Maximum size A1-DIN for posters.
